About us
Jay has always loved working with his hands—first as a PE and health teacher, then as a woodworker. In 2017, a summer hobby turned into a passion, and by 2020, he took a leap of faith, making JT Woodworking his full-time career. That same year, he built his first kitchen and custom doors—projects that made the dream real.
Even more meaningful, he restored his grandfather’s old hog shop, turning it into his own woodworking space.
In October 2021, he married his best friend, Kaleigh, and in October 2024, they welcomed their greatest creation yet—their daughter, Halle. Through every piece he builds, Jay pours in craftsmanship, tradition, and a whole lot of heart.
